Wildcats Stay Unbeaten with Homecoming Victory

The Wildcats improved to 5-0 with a win over M State - Fergus Falls on Homecoming.

On the back of another great overall defensive perfomance and a balanced offensive attack the Cats defeated the Spartans of M State - Fergus Falls 30-6. The Wildcat defense held Fergus Falls to just 95 total yards of offense and negative rushing yards.

The offense was lead again by the ground attack as NDSCS tallied 186 yards rushing and two touchdowns courtesy of Devan Green Jr. and Dontay Watson. The passing game for the offense was present Saturday as Max Race threw for 99 yards on five completions and two touchdowns. Race connected with Marcus Hill on a 26 yard strike and Grant Brown from 40 yards out.

Up next, the Wildcats will travel to Bottineau in hopes of reclaiming the LumberCat Trophy after dropping last year's contest 19-21 at the hand of the Lumberjacks. NDSCS will play Dakota College at Bottineau on Saturday, October 6, with kickoff scheduled for 2 pm.
