North Dakota State College of Science dropped out of the NJCAA D2 Top 20 Poll for the first time this season in the Week 4 edition of the weekly ranking.
The Wildcats are the top team outside of the top 20, giving them an unofficial ranking of No. 21.
NDSCS is 10-4 this season and has won eight of its last 10 games, with the two losses during that stretch coming in five-set matches.
Parkland (IL) is the new No. 1 team in the nation, taking all seven first-place votes and jumping defending national champion and undefeated Coffeyville (KS). Johnson County (KS), Glendale (AZ) and Highland (KS) round out the top five.
Two of the Cats' four losses have come against teams that were nationally ranked at the time of the match. The Wildcats also own a win over No. 8 Kirkwood.
NDSCS is 4-1 amid its seven-game home stand with Williston State and No. 20 Bismarck State capping the span.
WSC will be in Wahpeton on Sep. 18 with BSC coming to Ed Werre Arena on Sep. 23.
