Wildcat Volleyball Announces 2021 Recruiting Class

NDSCS head volleyball coach Jane Passa has announced the addition of six players to the 2021 recruiting class with Kendra Bagley, Storm Johnsen, Madison McKinnon, McKenna Rolland, Ellie Seidler and Morgan Vosberg all joining the program next fall.

Passa, who will be entering her 22nd season with a COVID-altered spring session, is excited about what this group will add to the program.

"The class will bring alot of post season experience," said Passa. "They have all been leaders and are a very versatile group with the ability to play different positions."

NDSCS will kick off the 2021 season on Jan. 30, at home, against Dakota County Tech.

Kendra Bagley | New London-Spicer (MN) | 5-foot-9 DS

Passa: "Kendra is a powerhouse in the front row ith great jumping ability and works super hard. Her cousin Kinlee Swanson is a former Cat."

 

Storm Johnsen | Miller (SD) | 5-foot-10 OH

  • 242 Kills, 46 Blocks in 2020
  • Team Captain

Passa: "Storm comes from a top winning program in South Dakota. She is a great jumper able to play all positions on the court."

 

Madison McKinnon | West Fargo (ND) | 6-foot MH

  • 476 kills, 195 blocks in 2020
  • 3-Year Starter

Passa: "Madison has grit and determination and has had varsity and winning experience since her sophomore year as a West Fargo Packer."

 

McKenna Rolland | Glenburn (ND) | 5-foot10 MH

  • 3-Time All-District Volleyball
  • 3-Time All-District Basketball

Passa: "McKenna is one of the best class B players in ND leader on and off the court. Her sister Payton Schuman played for the Wildcats."

 

Ellie Seidler | Dilworth Glyndon Felton (ND) | 5-foot-7 Setter/OH

  • 477 assists in 2020
  • Honorable Mention All-Conference

Passa: "Ellie does a great job of running the offense and is able to contribute as a Rightside hitter also. She leads by example."

 

Morgan Vosberg | Sartell (MN) | 5-foot-8 Setter

  • 3-Time All-Conference
  • 2,699 Career Assists

Passa: "Morgan setter with great experience leading her team to tremendous season the past few years. She is steady in her role as a setter."
