Four Wildcats Named to MCAC All Region Team

Four NDSCS Wildcats were named to the 2018 MCAC All Region Team.

On the offensive side, linemen Deton Hart (So.) of Maple Grove, MN, and Nick Radunz (Fr.) of Becker, MN were honored by the MCAC. Both Hart and Radunz played an integral part of the Wildcat offense up front helping NDSCS finish 9th in the nation in total rushing yards with 2,122 and 13th in rushing touchdowns with 24. 

Defensively, defensive lineman Marshaun Jones (So.) of Brooklyn Park, MN and defensive back Habonimana Simon (So.) of West Fargo, ND were selected. Jones was a strong presence for NDSCS at the line of scrimmage and in the opposing backfield as he led the Cats with 52 total tackles and registered 8.5 tackles for loss to go along with 5 sacks. Simon was a leader for NDSCS in the defensive backfield, leading the Wildcats by hauling in a team high four interceptions and breaking up five passes.

NDSCS finished the season 9-2, falling to Northland in the MCAC Championship game. Congratulations to the Wildcats on a successful season and congratulations to these Cats for their on field success.
