Six Wildcats Named to Mon-Dak All-Conference Team
Taylor and Stewart Named Co-MVP Pitchers
The Mon-Dak Conference has released their 2026 All-Conference team which includes six Wildcats this year.
Heeley Taylor (P/SS, SO., Worden, MT) received Co-MVP Pitcher. Taylor is currently 16-1 in 28 appearances. She has an ERA of 3.02, a WHIP of 1.31, and 78 strikeouts on the season. At the plate, Taylor is 48-115 (.417 average) with 34 runs scored, 19 RBIs, and 11 extra base hits.
Ella Stewart (P, SO., Prescott, WI) received Co-MVP Pitcher. Stewart is currently 18-4 in 36 appearances for the 'Cats. She has an ERA of 2.34, WHIP of 1.02, and struck out 167 batters on the year.
Rayelle Cooley (2B, SO., Oxbow, SK) was named to the All-Conference team playing second base. Cooley has hit 51-136 (.375 average) at the plate with 42 runs scored, 38 RBIs, 20 stolen bases, and three home runs. Cooley has a .960 fielding percentage on the year playing defense.
Jessi Mathews (1B/OF, SO., Cincinnati, OH) was named to the All-Conference team this year playing first base. Mathews is 48-122 this year (.393 average) with 30 runs scored, 48 RBIs, 13 stolen bases, and five home runs. Mathews also has a .978 fielding percentage.
Izzi Parsons (OF, FR., Hartford, SD) was named to the All-Conference team this year as a center fielder. Parsons is hitting 61-173 (.353) on the year with 58 runs scored, 20 RBIs, and 60 stolen bases. Parsons has a .986 fielding percentage on the year.
Naomi McKay (P, FR., Waywayseecappo, MB) was named to the All-Conference team as a pitcher and DH. McKay is 12-1 on the year with a 2.65 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 87 strikeouts. McKay is also 17-34 (.500) at the plate with 13 RBIs and two home runs.
The Wildcats travel to Dewitt, NY this weekend where they'll play in the NJCAA DIII World Series starting on May 20th through the 23rd. Games will be broadcasted on the NJCAA Network.
