North Dakota State College of Science Volleyball continued its hot streak, topping Miles for its seventh straight win Tuesday night at Ed Werre Arena.
Miles is the only team to beat the Wildcats in Mon-Dak Conference play this year, a four-set win in Miles City last month. NDSCS was impressive on Tuesday, battling for two back-and-forth set wins (25-23, 27-25), before drilling MCC 25-13 in the final set.
It was another tremendous showing by Jane Passa’s sophomores.
Gabby Hahn finished with her fourth consecutive double-double, posting 14 kills and 14 digs as well as three aces. Lily Pyle added a team-high 15 kills and three blocks. Classmate Lexi Hansch paced the Cats with 28 assists.
Freshmen Katie Krieger (21 digs) and Miah Gessell (4 kills, 11 digs) continue to make major contributions for NDSCS.
The Cats (16-4) have now won 14 of their last 16 matches overall and 83 of their last 92 at Ed Werre Arena.
NDSCS is back at home on Wednesday against Dawson.
